GutOptim Disclaimer: FDA Statement, Seals, Reviews and How We Earn
Quick answerGutOptim is a dietary supplement, and FDA has not evaluated its label claims. It is not FDA approved, because FDA does not approve supplements before sale, even though one marketing seal says so. This site gives general information, not medical advice. Results vary, the reviews shown are retailer-supplied and not verified, and we earn money on purchases.
What does the FDA statement on the GutOptim label say?
The GutOptim label prints the standard FDA statement for supplements. Here it is word for word:
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
On the front of the bottle, three claims carry a dagger (†) that points to this statement: “Advanced Synbiotics”, “Digestive Comfort”, “Bloating & Gas Aid”. The badge “Clinically Researched Ingredients” means the ingredients have been studied on their own. It does not mean GutOptim itself was tested in a trial.
The same FDA statement appears in the footer of every page on this site, so it travels with every claim we quote.

Is GutOptim FDA approved?

No. FDA has no legal power to sign off on a dietary supplement before it reaches the market (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements). A supplement is never “FDA approved” before it is sold, and that includes GutOptim.
One marketing image shows a row of four seals, and one of them reads “FDA approved.” We show it so you know what it is: brand artwork, not an FDA decision. A separate seal about a registered FDA facility describes where the product is said to be made, not the product itself.
The testing and quality page covers what has and has not been published about quality checks.
Is the information on this site medical advice?
No. The pages on mygutoptim.com explain the label, the ingredients and published research. They cannot take your health history, medicines or symptoms into account.
Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before you start GutOptim, as the label asks, especially if you take medicine or have a medical condition. Never delay care or stop a prescribed treatment because of something you read here. The side effects page lists the known cautions.
If something feels wrong
Call 911 for chest pain, trouble swallowing or breathing, or swelling of the face or throat. For other new or worsening symptoms, stop the supplement and call your doctor.
Will everyone get the same results?
Results vary, and nobody can promise a set outcome or timeline. No clinical trial of the finished GutOptim product has been published. The studies we cite tested single ingredients, often at far higher doses than the 1.5 g blend in two capsules.
Diet, fluids, sleep, stress, medicines and health all shape how the gut responds. Buyers in the retailer's review pack most often mention 3-6 weeks, but that is their report, not a promise. The results timeline explains what the research actually measured.
What we can tell you
- The ten ingredients and their order, from the label
- The doses the cited studies tested, with links
- Prices, shipping and refund terms from the brand's info page
- The label's warnings, word for word
What no one can tell you yet
- How a single person will respond
- How much of each ingredient the 1.5 g blend holds
- The probiotic's CFU count or strain
- How long any change would take, if it comes
How does this website earn money?
Mygutoptim is the U.S. stocking partner for GutOptim. When you order GutOptim after clicking one of our buttons, part of the sale comes to us. That money keeps the site running.
Your checkout price is the same either way. We still mark missing facts as “not published” and note weak points, such as the small blend and the missing CFU count, where they matter.
How reliable are the reviews shown here?
The rating, counts and quotes on this site come from the Mygutoptim retailer desk. They report a score of 4.3/5 from 1,052 written reviews. We have not been able to check these against real orders, so we call them retailer-supplied figures, not verified reviews.
Reviews are personal accounts and do not show what will happen for you. The reviews page shows low scores at the same size as high ones.
What do the seals on the pack mean?
Five seals that raise the most questions, with a plain note on each.
The seals on the GutOptim pack describe claims made by the brand. None of them is an endorsement by FDA or any other agency. Some are useful, some need care, and a few conflict with the label.

Says the maker follows the FDA's supplement manufacturing rules (21 CFR Part 111). No certificate number has been published.

Describes the factory, not the product. The FDA does not approve supplements and does not certify facility registration.

Conflicts with the label: the capsule shell is gelatin, which comes from animals. Vegetarians should not rely on this seal.

Oat bran is on the label. Oats are often cross-contaminated with wheat unless certified gluten-free, and no test has been published.

The brand has not named the doctor, so we give this seal no weight.
What are the bonus e-books, and are their titles claims?
The 3-bottle and 6-bottle packs include 2 digital e-books: “Hollywood Secrets for A Flat Belly & Toned Body in 21 Days” and “Decadent Sweet Treats & Mouth Watering Snacks That Relax Your Stomach.” These titles are the publisher's own wording.
They are reading material, not part of the supplement, and their titles are not claims about what GutOptim does. We make no weight-loss or body-shape claim for GutOptim. The bonuses page describes what each e-book covers.
Are the images real photos, and what about outside links?
Bottle photos, pack shots, seals and the “inside” graphics are brand marketing images. Ingredient photos, such as plums or aloe leaves, are illustrations. The bottle you receive may differ in lot number, print or packaging.
Where a graphic and the label differ, the label is the record we follow. For example, the “inside” graphic shows six ingredients, while the label lists ten.
Many pages link to outside sources like FDA, NIH and medical journals. We do not control those sites, and a link is not an endorsement. Questions about this disclaimer go to [email protected], and site rules are in the terms and conditions.
GutOptim disclaimer FAQ
Is GutOptim FDA approved?
No. FDA cannot approve any dietary supplement before it goes on sale. A marketing seal with the words “FDA approved” does not change that.
What does the dagger on the GutOptim label mean?
The dagger after each front claim points to the FDA statement. It says the claims have not been evaluated by FDA and that the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Will GutOptim work for me?
No one can promise that. There is no published study of GutOptim itself, and results vary from person to person. The 60-day refund window lets you judge it.
Are the reviews on this site verified?
No. The rating, counts and quotes were supplied by the retailer desk, and we have not checked them against real orders. We label them that way wherever they appear.
Do the bonus e-books promise weight loss?
No. The e-book titles are the publisher's titles for reading material. They are not claims about GutOptim, and we make no weight-loss claim.
Are the product images real photos?
They are the brand's marketing graphics and ingredient illustrations. The bottle you receive may differ in lot number, print or packaging.
Is this website run by the maker of GutOptim?
No. Mygutoptim is the U.S. stocking partner for GutOptim, an authorized seller. The distributor named on the bottle is GutOptim, based in Aurora, Colorado.
Does this site earn money from sales?
Yes. Mygutoptim earns money when you buy through this site. The checkout price is the same either way.
